The best-known member benefit—but have you looked recently?BIFHSGO members have access to the rich history of BIFHSGO meetings and (for early years) conferences. There are over 270 videos, slideshows and documents from presentations over the past 13 years, although the coverage varies over the years. So many enlightening, informative and amusing presentations from our members on a wide range of topics available with just a couple of clicks on the website. There are also presentations by the well-known speakers at our annual conferences (prior to 2020)—featuring among others, Blaine Bettinger, Audrey Collins, Bruce Durie, Maurice Gleeson, Celia Heritage, Cyndi Ingle, Paul Milner, Lynn Palermo, Shirley-Ann Pyefinch and Diahan Southard. An index of all presentations is available. |
Head’s up … for the Ottawa Regional Heritage Fair on 24 April 2024 in the Grand Hall at the Museum of History. BIFHSGO will have a table at this fair that provides Grades 4 to 10 students an opportunity to increase their understanding of Canadian heritage. Please consider joining us to promote genealogy among young people. |
